UCD had am immense start to the second half which really set them up for victory. Within 12 minutes they had 1-03 on the board. UL on the hand didnt get their first score until the 49 th minute through Galway's Louise Ward. UCD closed out the game with two fine scores from Dublin's Martha Byrne and Galway's Áine McDonagh Lucy McCartan received the Gourmet Food Parlour Player of the Match Award; while UCD captain Molly Lamb accepted the Cup from Ladies HEC Chairman Donal Barry.
