UCD versus DCU in the semi final of the Gourmet Food Parlour O'Connor Cup semi final was highly anticipated. Not only does it draw on northside v southside loyalty in the capital but there have also been plenty of encounters between the two sides over the last decade to add fuel to the fire. A 'home' weekend for both teams as the competition was hosted by Blanchardstown Institute of Technology allowed them to avoid any distraction of long travel logistics. Both teams enjoyed a host of top level players but in terms of performance on the day it was the DCU players that dominated the game. S Continuing on the trend of her current form Tipperary star Aishling Moloney commanded the attention of all present with her dominance. Even though Dublin's Lauren Magee was sin binned in the second half, DCU worked hard enough to create goal chances that, Mayo's Sarah Rowe and Meath's Vikki Wall and Moloney were on hand to convert.
