My name is Maureen Phelan. I live in Howth with my
husband and two children Cait and Finn.
I have had a very varied career in terms of study and
work. I studied English & Philosophy in UCD and did
a Masters in Arts Management. I worked in Sullivan
Bluth Animation Studios as a cell painter and inking
artist, Hot Press Magazine and an Advertising
Agency in London.
I spent some time working out in Romania back
in 1993 and it was here that I got my first taste of
teaching small children. This experience shaped
my life and I undertook a post-graduate diploma in
Montessori teaching for 3-6 year old.
I set up Mo's Montessori in 2010 and it has been the
most wonderful and rewarding experience. I love
working with the children and that really is what it is all about for me. I recently
completed the LINC Leadership for Inclusion course which has helped bring me up
to date with current ideas for working with children.

Pamela Halton
Pamela studied for her Montessori Diploma for
3-6 year olds at the AMI Montessori College in
Dublin. Pamela spent a year as a kindergarten
teacher in Abu Dhabi in 2010. Pam has been
working as a Montessori teacher at Mo's
Montessori since 2011.
She loves the children and has a very gentle,
kind approach to working with them. Pamela
is a wonderful artist and undertook her BA in
Art & Design at GMIT in 2007.
She is also currently studying for a degree in
Art Therapy and continues to work as an artist
exhibiting her pieces around the country.
