See left HOW DO I EXECUTE THIS DRILL? • GK starts on the goal line. There are two attackers on the 13m line, one on each side of the goal • GK faces the first attacker who takes a shot. After the save the GK moves quickly to the next attacker using good footwork • GK must re position themselves after every shot in order to cut down the angle for the new attacker • Attackers are aiming to stretch the GK so they have to dive • GK should do sets of 6 to 8 shots in a row. 3 to 5 sets are suºcient depending on fitness and ability • Kickers should tell the GK if they are leaving any part of the goal open • GK needs to have a decent level of fitness for this drill as they need to keep attacking the ball, perform very quick lateral movements and dive. DRILL 3 RIGHT AND LEFT DIVES
