As our game continues to grow from a playing membership point of view it is vitally important we continue to strive to have the right support structures in place to sustain this level of growth. Recently appointed National Development Manager, Lyn Savage, began the day by presenting the new development infrastructue to the large group in attendance on the day. There has been an increase in sta" at national level, each of whom now has a specific remit focusing on one of the following areas: volunteer development, coach education, referee education, growth and participation. In addition, the restructure will see National and Provincial development personnel working more closely to ensure there is a more consistent approach to development across all levels of the Association. Gerry Mulholland from Derry, and current development oºcer for his county, Back to Basics was key message at Development Officer Day! B presented an impressive insight into his development journey to the group.
