MA in Social Care, Leadership and Management | 3 ADMISSION CRITERIA The programme entry criteria are a minimum award of a BA Social Care (Level 8) with at least 3 years work experience in a social care service and with formal or part-time management/leadership experience. A personal statement of evidence in management/leadership roles will be required. Graduates with a BA Social Care (Level 7) with relevant social care work experience will be considered through the exceptional entry/ RPL route by the Programme committee. The MA programme aims to provide graduates with competence in a range of modules linked to excellent management and leadership skills and thus provide services based on ethics of best standards of care. Knowledge in management, leadership, the European context, roles and responsibilities in governance, strategic planning, organisational culture, legal issues, policy development, teamwork, adherence to ethical standards and regulations will be imparted. Critical thinking and other tools will enable graduates to provide humanitarian services that proactively respond to the potential of people in need of care and protection.
