competing in the 2023 John West
National Féile Peile na nÓg hosted by
Connacht in Connacht GAA Centre of
Excellence, Mayo; Clonberne Sports Field,
Galway; Castlerea St Kevins, Roscommon;
Tubbercurry GAA, Sligo and Tuam Stars
GAA, Galway.
John West Regional Féile Peile
na nÓg took place also with
72 LGFA teams competing
across nine regions including:
Antrim: St Joseph's Glenavy
& Naomh Éanna, Down:
Carryduff, Armagh:
Silverbridge Harps, Louth:
Cooley Kickhams, Meath:
Donaghmore Ashbourne,
Wicklow: Blessington,
Longford: Longford Slashers,
Tipperary: Moyne Templetuohy,
Limerick: Staker Wallace.
112 LGFA teams competed including
teams from Glo-Herts, London,
Scotland, New York and Philadelphia
with up to 2900 LGFA players
taking part, 500 mentors, 70 match
officials and 100's of volunteers, a
Féile Festival!
Shelmalier from Wexford took
the first ever Féile honours in
1994 beating Beaufort
from Kerry.
