CAUSATION OF KICKPASS TURNOVER # 50 46% 10% 40% 4% 11 44 4 Interestingly, 42 (39%) of kick passes away came from a dead pass scenario (Excluding kick outs) Review of the footage suggest that kick passes away from dead ball scenarios were due to players rushing to get the ball moving again and not composing themselves and choosing the favourable option. The data suggest that an average 20min game will see an average of 23 turnovers. Turnovers in attack were most frequent. This analysis correlates with what is found at senior level. Attacking down the centre was the most prominent, occurring 43% of the time. 13 times in 20 minutes. 34% of the time (10 times in 20 mins) teams attacked down the right channel.
