MATCH Report & Stats Programme Module overview: Establishing Inclusive Gaelic Games Programmes in your club Outlining the 7-step Process of establishing inclusive programmes within your club, including the GAA4ALL and All-Stars programmes for those with additional needs in our communites, delivered by by GAA Diversity and Inclusion Officer Ger McTavish. Ready Steady Coach Aimed at providing support and assistance to new volunteers interested in helping with coaching or running a team within the club. Safeguarding 1 Course Provides participants with the knowledge and skills you need to safeguard children. It describes the common types of abuse, how to recognise them, and how to respond to your concerns. It also explains how to correctly report your concerns. Safeguarding 2 Course For participants who completed the GAA /LGFA Safeguarding 1 course within the last three years and are interested in assuming or assisting the role of Children's Officer in their club. Cara LGFA Inclusion Course Disability Inclusion Training, an introductory level course, which is designed to give people ideas and tips on how to adapt and modify their sessions to make them more accessible and inclusive. Sports First Aid Course This introductory/refresher Sports First Aid training is advisable for anybody who is involved in or participates in sport i.e. coaches, parents, teachers, physical activity leaders etc. Delivered online via Zoom, this online sports first aid training course is an interactive course delivered by ER Training. One Good Coach™ The GAA, LGFA, and the Camogie Association, in partnership with Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, are delighted to make available across their memberships an online mental health course called One Good Coach™. The course is based on the successful workshop Jigsaw delivers face-to-face across its 12 services. It offers participants a greater understanding of mental health, the importance of their role as a potential One Good Adult® in the lives of young members, and a greater awareness of how to promote and support young people's mental health. While designed with coaches in mind, the 40-minute content should prove equally informative to Healthy Club or Children's Officers, any other club or county volunteers that work with young people, or even interested parents or young people themselves.
