56 | AUTUMN 2021 | www.ladiesgaelic.ie FEATURE THE LEADING PROVINCIAL FEMALES PROGRAMME IS A NEW AND EXCITING INITIATIVE DEVELOPED BY THE LGFA, IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE GAA. THE PROGRAMME IS OPEN TO ANY FEMALE AGED 18+ WHO IS INTERESTED IN THEIR OWN PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS, AS THEY APPLY TO THEIR ROLES WITHIN THE GAA OR LGFA. During the programme, there will be three collective engagement opportunities, which focus specifically on leadership skills. Two full-day events will open and close the programme, with an evening gathering half way through the programme to help people to keep focused on their leadership development journey. In addition to leadership skills, participants are also given the opportunity to complete at least two modules from across the four strands of coaching, officiating, administration and PR/Media.
