With only six minutes gone they, found themselves with a 2-2 to 0-0 advantage. Kate Flood was sharp to intercept a Leitrim kickout, before she transferred to Lauren Boyle, who executed well and found the net within a minute of throw-in. This was followed up by two points and a second goal. This time it was Niamh Rice who broke through the Leitrim defence, as finished low under goalkeeper Michelle Monaghan. Leitrim did start to play after this initial six minute blitz.
