38 | SPRING 2021 | www.ladiesgaelic.ie SOME RECOMMENDATIONS Programme Design & Delivery Methods • Change the inclusion of criteria from 18-35 to 18-40 • Do not include length of experience as part of the inclusion criteria for the GYM academy programme. • Consider doing elements in an online capacity even if Covid 19 restrictions are not a concern. • Include more 'touch points' with referees between modules • Increase the interaction with the national panel referees during module delivery. • Continue to invest in the mentoring aspect of the GYW academy, while seeking to pair personnel accordingly. • Where possible, try to include some content with regards to how referees communicate with their respective county boards. • Consider including some county board representation within some of the GYW academy workshops/ webinars.
