CORK KICKOUTS
Kickout won by Dublin Kickout won by Cork
Number inside circle = Player that won possession
In contrast, the opening ten minutes of the second half
belonged to Dublin, they attacked seven times, tuned the ball
over six times and scored 1-2 to Cork's 0-1. In addition to this,
they almost doubled their tackle count (26) with the forwards
committing twelve tackles and the back fourteen.
With this being said, one player was crucial in these ten
minutes, Sinéad Goldrick. She exemplified the newfound Dublin
desire by committing two tackles and three turnovers, along with
one shot on goal. Her five possessions in the opening minutes of
the second half indirectly led to four Dublin scores. In contrast,
her four possessions in the opening ten minutes of the first half
didn't impact on the scoreboard, although Carla Rowe may have
done better following a great break by Goldrick through the heart
of the Cork defence.
