After 60 minutes, Dublin came out on top in terms of number of attacks (35), kickout % won (100%), number of positive turnovers (22) and shot efficiency (48 %). However, these statistics don't tell the whole story of the game. The opening half was a cagey affair with 19 unforced errors created by both teams. In addition to this, Dublin seemed hesitant in the final third and, as a result, they only managed to convert 3/13 scoring chances in the opening 30 minutes. In contrast, Cork picked their opportunities well and registered five scores on the board before the water break. However, this seemed to be the best period of the game for the Leesiders as they struggled to create shooting ANALYSIS OF GAME opportunities for the remainder of the game by averaging an attack:shot of 0.675, indicating that it took Cork at least two attacks to register a shot. In contrast, the second half breathed new life into Dublin. The introduction of Kate Sullivan and re positioning of Niamh McEvoy to midfield revitalised the Dublin attack. With that being said, mistakes and nervousness continued for both teams in the second half, with 21 unforced errors being committed.
