The Shannonsiders held a 1-3 to 0-2 interval lead but they outscored Tipp by 2-7 to 0-3 in the second period to run out convincing winners. Aoibhin Cleary was the scoring star for Limerick with that clinical haul of 1-6 but this was an impressive team performance of strong running and excellent scoring.
