Here we take an in depth look at the numbers that decided this contest. T We look at how Mourneabbey took full advantage of the weather conditions to pressure Foxrock's kickout in the first half to run up an unassailable lead. How they got their best players on the ball while stopping Foxrock's danger forwards and how they held on for dear life in the second half to win a game where they would only score once in the entire second half. HEAD TO HEAD Doireann O'Sullivan V Amy Ring In big games both teams hope that their big players will perform while they do their utmost to snuff out the oppositions big names. Going into this game Doireann O'Sullivan, fresh from picking up an all star a week earlier, was Mourneabbey's go-to forward. She had kicked 8 points (7 from play) in the semi final and tends to be involved in most of Mourneabbey's possessions. On the other side Foxrock- Cabinteely were pinning a lot of their scoring hopes on Amy Ring. Ring had scored 1-4 (1-3 from play) in their semi final. She had kicked 2-4 in the Leinster final and 0-4 in the Dublin county final so clearly was a player who was racking up scores.
