Dublin have been significant winners in the past, in 2010 and 2016 the Dubs col- lected 6 both years but the 2018 selection of 7 players was their best haul to date. Just like some of the Cork greats there are now Dublin players who can now enjoy numerous All Stars on the mantlepiece. Captain Sinead Ahearne collected her 7th award and third in a row and the deter- mined defender from Foxrock-Cabinteely Sinead Goldrick collected her 6th award of the last 7 years. Ahearne and Goldrick are joined by fel- low team-mates Lauren Magee who collect- ed her very first All Star, Noelle Healy and Lyndsey Davey who both were recipients for the 4th time this year, Ciara Trant who also collected the number 1 All Star award in 2017 and Siobhan McGrath who collected her first award since 2010. Cork were awarded 4 All Stars in total. Two of those going to the same household as Mourneabbey sisters Doireann and Ciara O'Sullivan were both named on the selection.
