A championship winning
captain Lynsey Noone were
honoured with The Croke Park
Player of the Month awards
for June and July respectively.
Yvonne Bonner's season
ended with a defeat to Cork
in the All Ireland semi final
but previous to that she
displayed some excellent
form as Donegal retained
the TG4 Ulster Ladies Senior
title. During the Ulster
Championship Bonner's
accuracy in front of goal
was a significant weapon
for her side. In the provincial
decider she managed a hat
trick against a strong Armagh
defense.

In July Lynsey Noone was
still basking in the glory of
Galway's first All-Ireland
Minor A success since 2014. In
what was a remarkable season
for the Noone family, Lynsey
captained the Galway Minor
A side to victory over Cork,
and claimed the player of
the match award, while sister
Hannah skippered the U16
A side to win the All-Ireland
final against Kerry.
Lynsey produced a powerful
display in the Gaelic Grounds
decider spearheading
Galway's denial of a Cork four-
in-a-row at minor level.
Lynsey and Yvonne were
presented with their awards
by Alan Smullen, General
Manager, The Croke Park.
