The programme is 12 weeks duration and includes a provincial blitz where players get the opportunity to represent their club and showcase the skills they have learned in a fun and non-competitive environment. 2018 also saw the introduction of our Gaelic4Girls National Ambassador Aimee Mackin, (Shane O Neill's, Armagh Forward and 2 time TG4 All-Star recipient). A fitting candidate for the role, as Aimee started her journey as a 'Gaelic4Girls' participant 10 years ago, when her club Shane O Neill's delivered the Gaelic4Girls programme. Aimee has shared skill videos over the course of the 8 weeks and also gave personal insights into the importance of involvement from her parents, coaches and club in helping her become one of the game's best forwards. BENEFITS OF THE GAELIC4GIRLS PROGRAMME: 1. Increased numbers - the programme has proven to increase numbers in clubs. 2. Coach education - Coaches are provided with training, resources and support in how to set up run and deliver the 8 week game based programme. 3.
